iphone 5 concept

just made this in photoshop. Didn’t change too much. I always thought they should make the iphone look more like the current imacs. Just aluminum and glass. I also really like the green led lights on the side of macbooks which show much battery you have.

Slef Protairt, Some goyles

The space girl started off as a fat ballerina on her tip-toes looking at her big azz, but it wasn't appealing enough.. so I kept erasing body parts until I found this nice pose.

April Sketches

Some characters for a possible story idea. Except the last one, that one's me, obviously.

Adams Family Concepts

I'm in this class, as I'm typing actually, where we had to choose 3 characters from The Adam's Family & draw up a model sheet for each, as if they were to be used for a new animation show. I thought it'd be interesting if the kids were older teenagers:

Apple Tree Story

Here's a lil poster mockup for a story I made up while at school. I'm not actually working on this film right now, but maybe after I graduate & know flash well enough, I can start it up on my free time. If you click on it you can see how it's layered & would work in flash, or traditional paper cut-out animation. It's about 8 minutes long & narrated like a Dr. Seuss book, set during a depression..about this kid, Riley, who has the power to turn apples into gold by chewing on them. Actually, I'll just show you the logline, which I wrote a few months ago & think is pretty funny:

When a hungry young boy discovers his power to turn apples into money, the jealousy of his best friend leads to unfavorable exploitation encouraged by their economically depressed small town.

More school work

Here's a lil' ship I made a few weeks ago, to be modeled in 3d by another student soon. And that dude with the suspenders is the main character. I actually wanted him to have smaller, football shaped eyes & a pointy nose (see my original design below), but after collaborating with other students, and being away in Mexico for a week, this is the final character model. He reminds me of salad fingers and my cousin mixed together.

I have some animations from my alternative strategies for animation class that i can put up soon, maybe next week.

Another Bird Concept

I've been busy with school lately, but I really should post here more often. I've been thinking about getting my own laptop, and if everything goes as planned I'll have one within a month or so. The first thing I'm gonna do is get flash, the animating program. I've never tried it but from what I've heard & seen lately, I'm sure I'll learn it in no time. I can't wait to actually try it out & hopefully post some short animations here eventually, even if it's just like a little toaster dancing with a blender.
here's an example of what you can do: http://dura.cell.free.fr/home/swf/arms12.swf

Senior Short Film Concept Art

Here's some more concept art for our class film. Hopefully we end up leaning towards this style... we'll see.

Animation Production Studio Concept Art

Here's some homework I did earlier this week for my APS class. It's a year-long class for senior animation students... we work on a short film until May, and these drawings are concept drawings for some of the other students' ideas. All of these ideas have ben dropped already. I wish we could've made a story about the ice-cream bar dude, kinda like that blur music video with the little milk carton.
